The Benedictine University admissions philosophy is to select students
who will perform successfully in the University's academic programs and
be active members of the University community. Benedictine University
offers a rolling admission into all of its programs which means applications
are accepted and admissions decisions are made throughout the year without
deadline restrictions.
Students transferring into Benedictine University's traditional undergraduate
programs must have:
- A minimum of 20 transferable semester hours
- A cumulative grade point average of a 2.0/4.0 scale or better from
all colleges/universities previously attended
- No previous probation or dismissal
Students who do not meet the above admissions requirements are encouraged
to contact the Enrollment Center to set up an appointment with a transfer
counselor to discuss the possibility of a conditional acceptance.
Official transcripts from all colleges/universities must be submitted.
If students have fewer than 20 semester hours of transfer credit, freshman
requirements apply.
It is strongly recommended that you schedule a time to meet with a Transfer
Counselor. Transfer Counselors will assist you throughout the transfer
process, in addition to providing you with an unofficial evaluation of
your current and future courses.
