FOI is a volunteer board for financial and educational support for Srs Beatrice, Afra, and Fausta from the St. Gertrude Convent in Tanzania. 100% of all the money that the board raises goes directly to projects that the sisters – in conjunction with their prioress - earmark as the most urgent needs. Board members also help out directly with expenditures of the nuns and with tutoring while they are in the US, and contribute to the flight costs between Tanzania and the US. Therefore all outside donations can go to the projects in Tanzania.
